Float Fishing for Trout on the Niagara River
One of the styles of fishing we offer from the comfort of my vessel is float fishing for trout. Float fishing is a technique where one uses a longer than normal, usually ten to thirteen feet in length. A bobber, or also known as a float is used as an indicator for when a fish strikes. The idea of the float is to suspend your presentation in a certain depth where the fish may be in. We do provide conventional spinning reels, but guests are encouraged to bring their Centerpin reels. Float fishing the Niagara River is like no other, and the thrill of seeing your float drop is worth the adventure.
